Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for an EventStudio or VisualEther Professional license purchased from EventHelix.com Inc. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Try before you buy
A free Community Edition of VisualEther and a time-limited trial license for the Professional Edition are available so you can evaluate the Software before purchase. We strongly recommend using them to confirm the Software meets your needs.
14-day refund window
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on Professional licenses purchased directly through EventHelix.com / FastSpring.
You may request a refund within 14 days of the date of purchase if the Software does not meet your needs. We do not require you to justify the request, but we appreciate a short note explaining what was missing — it helps us improve the product.
How to request a refund
Email support@eventhelix.com from the email address used at checkout, and include:
- the order ID from your FastSpring receipt,
- the product purchased (EventStudio, VisualEther, or the bundle),
- a brief reason for the refund (optional but helpful).
We process refunds through FastSpring, our current merchant of record. Once approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method. FastSpring typically completes refunds within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
If you purchased through a different merchant of record listed on your receipt (for example, Lemon Squeezy on a future product), the same 14-day policy applies and we will process the refund through that merchant instead.
On refund, your Professional license is revoked and you must stop using the paid Software. You may continue to use the free Community Edition.
What is not refundable
- Requests made more than 14 days after purchase. The window is firm; we cannot make case-by-case exceptions without undermining the policy.
- Upgrade purchases (e.g. upgrading from a previous major version using a discount coupon) once the upgraded license file has been issued.
- Volume / site licenses negotiated under a separate quote, unless the quote expressly provides for a refund.
- Licenses revoked under the Terms of Service — for example, licenses obtained through fraudulent payment, charged back, or used in breach of the license-scope rules.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us, we treat the chargeback as a request to terminate your license: the license is revoked, and the order is closed. We are happy to resolve refund requests directly — please email us first.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence (for example, the EU / UK statutory right of withdrawal for digital purchases, where applicable). Those rights continue to apply alongside the policy above.
